Pack & Play
Pack and Play is a lunch program provided Monday through Friday for all children except Cubs. It is a great time for children to gather from 11:15 to 12:15 to have lunch together, and learn about how to eat good food to keep their bodies healthy and strong. After lunch is eaten, it will also incorporate different types of organized physical activity. Lunches are provided by the parent, and need to have their child’s name printed clearly on them. Lunches should not contain glass bottles or anything that would need heating or microwaving. Please provide a nutritious meal. Morning session children will be escorted to lunch bunch by one of their teachers. Afternoon session children can be taken directly to lunch bunch by their parent.

Pack and Play sessions are $6 daily and a child can sign up for one to five days a week. We have added Fridays as an option and we have two more sessions left for this school year: Winter (Jan-March) and Spring (March-May). Once you commit to a session, you are responsible for payment for that session whether your child attends every day or not. If you choose to discontinue or change days, a waiting list is maintained and additions, changes or withdrawals can only be made if there is a child to fill your position. Each family must re-register at the end of each quarter to allow all families an equal opportunity to participate. Quarterly billing statements will be sent home with each family.

Enrichment
BEAR’s preschool includes music as part of your child’s enrichment. Music is a natural and important part of a young child's growth and development. Early interaction with music positively affects the quality of all children's lives. Successful experiences in music help all children bond emotionally and intellectually with others through creative expression in song, rhythmic movement, and listening experiences. Music in early childhood creates a foundation upon which future learning is built.

Music education for young children involves a developmentally appropriate program of singing, moving, listening, creating, playing instruments, and responding to visual and verbal representations of sound.
